First Photos Of 2012 Mercedes C-Class Coupe Leaked

The Internet has done it again, pictures of the upcoming 2012 Mercedes C-Class Coupe have been leaked.

Lets go straight to the exterior design and we must admit, its a pretty elegant car. The car has the same front as the recently facelifted sedan and estate versions of the C-class but the similarities end at the A-pillar. Every other design element is unique to the coupe. The coupe features a Hoffmeister-like kinked rear window, a more rakish roofline, a complete new rear end and an upward sweeping shoulder line.

On the inside you get the same redesigned dashboard that we see in the facelifted C-Class sedan and wagon with fewer seats.

As for power, the engine options will likely be the same ones offered on the sedan with maybe even a Black Series option sporting a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 churning out 563 bhp and 664 lb-ft of torque.

Daimler Working On Second Generation Maybach

Daimler are working on the second-generation Maybach.

This comes even after the current luxury sedan failed to return the expected sales figures. The first study will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show next September.

Help might also come from Aston Martin which could mean the production version could be manufactured in England. In return, Aston Martin models get platforms and hybrid technology from Mercedes.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz s-class, the new Maybach is expected to reach the market at the end of 2012. Expect the car to grow slightly with air suspension being standard. There will also be a surcharge Magic Body Control which detects bumps and curves using a camera and changes the suspension hardness to suit the road condition.

The new car will get both diesel and gasoline engines with power ratings at 204-650 hp. There will also be two hybrids engine available for the European market.

Pagani Teases New Model Which Will Appparently Be Called The "Huayra"

Pagani have released another teaser on their new C9.

Although sketchy, the new teaser shows bits of the cars interior. But we have got some significant information on the cars name.

According to a new report, Pagani have apparently registered the name "Huayra" which means wind in the indigenous language called Quechua spoken in the Andes region of South America. This is not a the first time a manufacture have decided to name their cars after the wind, Volkswagen and Maserati have done it before. Another possible name is "Deus Venti" which is Latin for God of Winds.

Another confirmed detail is the cars engine which will not be the V12 used in the Mercedes-Benz SL Black Series but a bespoke 6.0 liter V12 from AMG. That should churn out 690 bhp and an amazing 1000 nm of torque.

My Tire Smoke Supercar And Executive Saloon Of 2010

The year 2010 has come to an end and so has our poll for the best super car and executive saloon of 2010.

The first award goes to the Lamborghini LP 570-4 superleggera for the My Tire Smoke supercar of the year. Based on Gallardo LP 560-4, the superleggera is the lightest car in the current Lamborghini lineup thanks to a strict diet of carbon fiber which allows the car to weight just 1340 kg. Powered by Lamborghini 5.2 liter V10 making 570hp, the car does 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and goes on for a top speed of 325 km/h.

The second award happens to be a tie between the Rolls-Royce Ghost and the BMW 7 series and surprisingly the Ghost sharing 20% of it's parts with the 7 series. Since the BMW F10 7 series has been under production since 2008 we have decided to let the Ghost take it this year.

Being the Rolls-Royce for the rich who can't afford a Phantom, the Ghost is cheapest car in the current Rolls-Royce lineup. Power comes from a 6.6 litre twin-turbo V12 with variable valve timing making 563 hp and 580 lb-ft torque. Hooked up to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, it allows the 2740 kg Ghost to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.7 seconds and it goes until it hits its electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Details And Photo

We all know that Lamborghini's spiritual successor to the Murcielago is on it way and everyone has their eyes opened to any information they can get. You will be pleased to hear that we have got more details on the beast thanks to a leaked order guide.

First off all, we got a rendered picture on the LP 700-4 based on the camouflaged pictures leaked on the internet. This should give us an idea of the cars major design element.

The order guide ironically doesn't give any hint at the cars name but its being called the LP 700-4 in the guide. The document does give us raw facts about the car like power and weight. The car's 6.5 liter V12 hooked to a 7-speed independent shift rod transmission and churns out 690 bhp 509 lb-ft of torque. Power is send to all 4 wheels thanks to a Haldex all-wheel drive system.

That power propels this 1575 kg monster from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and lets it hit a top speed of 350 km/h.

For people who car about looks and options, the exterior color choice has been broadened to offer new Arancio Argos (orange) paint in a pearl effect, new matte paint choices and also bi-color interiors.

Lotus City Car Concept Will Enter Production

   It looks like Lotus's evil looking Concept City Car, that was showcased to the Paris Auto Show, will make it into production form.
   This news was confirmed by Lotus CEO, Dany Bahar who stated in a interview that "Our city car has been confirmed and will be launched in October 2013, we are doing this together with Proton and another OEM*. We will build three versions: one for the Asian market, one for Europe and a sportier one."

The Lotus City Car Concept is based on Giugiaro's Proton EMAS study showcased to us at the Geneva Auto Show this year. It holds a plug-in hybrid power-train with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder range extender engine. The car has a claimed range of 300 miles with an electric range of 37 miles until the range extender kicks in and does 165 miles more, it also gets a CO2 emissions rating under 60 grams per kilometer.
Now for a car of this segment , you would expect a 0-100 km/h time of over 9000 minutes but that's were the car takes the lead doing the task under 9 seconds. This may sound like a sluggish time for a gasoline car but is ample for a hybrid considering the car gets 72-hp and 177 lb-ft of torque from its electric side while the gasoline range extender churns out 47-hp. Not much in a the car weights a little less than less than 3,086 pounds. The City Car Concept also has a top speed of 106 mph.

Lotus Coming Up With Company Made Engines

Remember all the good news that Lotus brought us earlier this year at the Paris Auto Show? Well Lotus continues that with the announcement of plans to place engines made by Lotus in their future cars.

This may all sound great but we cant really say weather this is going to turn out good or bad for Lotus although we do know that they plan to plant a Hethel-engineered V8 in the production confirmed Lotus Esprit and a V6 on the other cars featured in the new line up. According to Lotus CEO Dany Bahar, "We have done three engines for other manufacturers; why not do it ourselves? The engine is the heart of a sports car; we should do our own product."

Chevrolet Drops Aveo Name

Chevrolet have decided to drop the Aveo name in North America.

That comes as Chevrolet's current Aveo isint the most popular car in its segment in North America. The new car to preceed the Aveo will be called the Sonic.

"The Sonic represents a new beginning for Chevrolet in the small car segment and so we felt it was time to give it a new name."said Cherry Perry, vice president, Chevrolet U.S. Marketing.

Alothough not much information is released from Chevrolet about the car itself, we can see thought these pictures that the production car will be similar to the car we saw at the Paris Auto Show. The 2012 Chevrolet Sonic is slated to go into production on 2011 at GM's Lake Orion assembly plant in Michigan.

BMW have finally given us some significant facts and photos on the new 1-series M Coupé.

The teaser series have finally ended and the spiritual successor to the original M3 has shown itself. Lets get straight to the paper facts, power comes from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine churning out 335 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Hooked up to a six-speed manual transmission, the car does 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h. If people who only care about efficiency, the car has a average fuel consumption 24.5 mpg US and CO2 emissions 224 g/km.

Around the track you want speed and control so BMW have given the car an aluminum-intensive suspension consisting of a double pivot front axle and a five-link rear. The car is also fitted with M differential which "responds to differences in rotational speeds in the right and left rear wheel, redirecting drive torque within a fraction of a second.".

Still not impressed and want more? Well the 2012 BMW 1-series M Coupé gets technology like Dynamic Stability Control, Antilock Brakes (ABS), Anti-Slip Control, Dynamic Brake Control, and Cornering Brake Control.

If you care more about looking good, the car gets a new body kit with flared wheel arches and an aggresive bumper, 19-inch light-weight alloy wheels and bi-xenon headlights with LED "eyebrows". The 1-series M Coupé will only come with three exterior color choices: Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic and Valencia Orange Metallic.

Ferrari 458 Challenge World Premiere

Ferrari have officially showcased the Ferrari 458 Challenge at the Bologna Motor Show in Italy.

The Ferrari 458 Challenge is powered by the same 4.5 litre V8 found in the 458 Italia with 570 hp at 9,000 rpm. The car get new firsts for a Ferrari track-only car like E-Diff electronic differential and F1-Trac traction control system. The car also get improved gear ratios and calibration of the dual-clutch F1 gearbox which allows the car to improve torque at lower revs.

A diet has also been achieved with lightweight materials like carbon-fibre and Lexan and reducing the thickness of body panels.

The car also gets a race-spec model which gets toys like new generation Brembo CCM2 brakes with new ABS tech, 19-inch forged rims, a suspension set-up with steel uniball joints, stiffer springs, single-rate alloy dampers and a lower ride height by 50mm.

Nissan's 2012 GTR has stern up the automobile world and now we have more details on the Godzilla.

Lets go straight to it, 0-100 km/h in a flat 3 seconds. That time was achieved by Nissan at the Sendai Hi-land Race Way in Japan in the middle of November. The time was set in both at a temperature of 14.9°C and 18.6°C both retuning the flat 3 second time.

The Audi Quattro has been spotted in traffic and this might just be the clue we needed to confirm weather the car will be a production model or not.

The car was spotted in Malibu, California on the Pacific Coast Highway. The car was wearing design-studio license plates and was headed towards a photo shoot, and was being escorted by California Highway Patrol. The car was being followed by its red cousin, the classic Quattro. According to the internet, the Audi employees with the car, have confirmed that the car will be a production model.

Mclaren Announces Price of The MP4-12C In Europe

McLaren have finally announced the price tag for their highly sought after supercar, the McLaren MP4-12C.

The car will be priced at £168,500 ($225,372) in UK with 20% VAT. The price comes £1045 less that the Ferrari's 458 Italia with 2700 pre-orders already placed on the epic MP4-12C.

That £168,500 will get you a supercar with a turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine hooked up to a seven-speed "Seamless Shift" double-clutch transmission churning out 600 bhp and 599 Nm of torque. The images show us a designer scraping away at a 1:3 scale clay model of the 918. The model features a altered front end, hood, quarter panel and a new exhaust which only features one outlet on each side of the car.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento To Make Its Official Way Into Production

Lamborghini have official confirmed the production of the super light carbon fiber Sesto Elemento Concept car showcased at this years Paris motor show.

"We are testing the Sesto Elemento at the moment and if it all goes well then we could look at a limited production run. But it would not be homologated because there are complications with things like airbags. It would be for track use only." says Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini CEO, in an interview with AutoCar.

AMG And Ducati Join Hands

Mercedes's performance division AMG have joined hands with superbike maker Ducati at the LA motor show.

According to Ola Källenius, CEO of AMG "AMG and Ducati ideally complement each other...This long-term cooperation will help us to jointly access new customer groups"

What does this mean? Well AMG will become a sponsor for the Ducati's MotoGP Team and Mercedes AMG cars will be available to Ducati customers to test drive and AMG customers will also get the privilage to test drive Ducati bikes at special events.

Lets hope they come together to make a special edition car as well.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante

Lamborghini have unveiled yet another mad special edition bull which should prove to be a more fun alternative to the standard LP 570-4 Superleggera.

Called the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante, the car is basically a drop top Superleggera with some more rawness to it. On the exterior the features 19-inch lightweight wheels cocooned by Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, a new front fascia, more aggressive side skirts, a fully-covered underbody for aerodynamics sake and a redesigned rear diffuser .

More Details On Upcoming “Lamborghini Aventador”

Everyone knows that Lamborghini have been working hard on the new Murcielago replacement and have been working out the prototype to make it just as epic as the old supercar, but we never got some real evidence on many reviling facts about the car until now.

First off let start with what the next raging bull will be named. Although this fact hasn't officially been confirmed we think that the Murcielago will be named the “Lamborghini Aventador” as Lamborghini have trademarked the name. Although this could be inaccurate as Lamborghini could use the name for another model.

The fact that is official is that the car will be powered by the new L539 engine Lamborghini have unveiled recently. The engine will be a 6.5 litre V12 churning out 690 hp and 690 nm of torque. The engine only weights a total of 234 kg while the nitride-hardened crankshaft weighs just 24.6 kg.

The Aston Martin Lagonda has been stated to be an all wheel drive, sport utility vehicle aimed at markets like China, the Middle East.

As you see in these pictures, the car isn't that much of a looker but expect a complete redesign as the car didn't get a kind reception at its debut at Geneva and Aston Martin was forced to cut the project right away.

According to Ulrich Bez, the car will be developed with a partner and expect that partner to be Daimler as the Lagonda is based on the Mercedes-Benz GL- Class.

We finally have it, spy photos which show us most of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing Convertible.

The convertible remains mostly similar to the SLS AMG hardtop except the fact that it has lost the big highlight gullwing doors. That still shouldint deter a possible buyer because the car looks amazing with its top down.

The car houses a revised version of the canvas top which we saw being used on the old SLR roadster.

The top is electrically-operated and is made from a lightweight aluminium roof frame clad in canvas. Expect a top speed of more than 200mph with power coming from the same 6.2-litre V8 used in the gullwing SLS AMG.

Expect the Mercedes-Benz SLS Gullwing Convertible to make is official debut at the next year’s Frankfurt Motor Show with a price tag of about $240,000 (£180,000).

Most companies nowadays are making plans for more fuel efficient cars and now Porsche have decided to jump on to that bandwagon

According to Porsche development chief Wolfgang Duerheime, "In the future, we will have hybrid drive in every model line." The upcoming Panamera Hybrid is confirmed to travel up to 6km (4 miles) on electricity alone. The car will be followed by the every so awaited Porsche supercar, the hybrid 918 Spyder.

The hybrid car will also be 10% lighter to help with efficiency. Porsche have also planed to use four cylinder engines which should come from Volkswagen.

"If the CO2 guidelines require it, then our engines will become smaller and may have just four cylinders," Duerheimer said. "The important thing is that the performance has to be right. The 911 must always be on the cutting edge."

Dodge Unviels New Charger

Dodge has taken the sheets of the new 2011 Dodge Charger.

The comes with new headlamps,a new grill, redesigned front bumper, a new aluminium hood which have "dual scallops", and rear tail lamps inspired by the old 60s Charger which houses 164 LED lights.

Dodge haven't released official pictures of the car's interior yet but expect a thick rimmed three spoke wheel with and a lot of premiumn materials thowrn at places on the inside. On the technology front, the car gets a new navigation system with options like Uconnect Touch (with Garmin navigation), adaptive-cruise control and blind-spot monitoring.

Power will come from Chrysler's new 3.6 litre Penstar V6 engine or a 5.7-litre HEMI V8. The V6, offered on the Charger S/E and Rallye models, should make 305 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque, while the V8 offered on the R/T should make 379 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. Power will go to the rear wheels with all wheel drive as an option.

Dodge say they also have given the car structural improvements, suspension tweaks and unibody pakage materials.

Rolls Royce have unveiled five bespoke new bespoke models at the Paris Auto Show; a Phantom Coupé, a Phantom EWB, The Phantom Drophead Coupé and two Ghosts.

The Phantom Coupé gets painted in Syrah Red metallic with interior touches like a twin coachline done in black, black starlight headliner, silver bezel black clock face, contrast RR to seat inserts, black carbon fibre veneer, cupholder lid and steering wheel spokes, piano black veneered interior cappings, Full seat piping in Consort Red and black contrast stitching to centre console.

The Phantom Drophead Coupé gets painted in Carrara White metallic and gets things like a single coachline in Hotspur Red, painted wheel centres, steering wheel spokes in crossbanded elm cluster, veneered front cupholder lid, lambswool floor mats, white instrument dials and silver bezel white clock face.

Audi has unveiled the new Audi Quattro Concept at the Paris Auto Show to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Quattro.

The Quattro uses the same foundation as the Audi RS 5. The car features a stark single-frame grille and a aggressive front end whcih houses LED headlamps. in the rear the car gets a classic touch with a hatch roof line.It also gets a carbon fiber diffuser, and center-locking 20-inch wheels.

on the inside you 'get any concept specials but it still has leather like all luxury cars ,a digital instrument cluster and a multimedia system.

The car is made to be a leader in the luxury hatchback section with stunning looks, decent power and luxurious interior. As far as the exterior is concern, the car gets a sexy sweeping roof-line and a sharp look thanks to LED taillights, and 18-inch alloy wheels (19 and 20's are optional).

The new Eterne was revealed at the Paris Auto Show today. The car is based on the Lotus Elite that was unleashed a while ago.

Power comes from 5.0 liter V8 engine that makes 612 hp and 720 nm of torque.The car will be offered as a hybrid offered with a hybrid gearbox with integrated electric motors and KERS. the car will hit a top speed of 195 km/h and 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds.

Lotus have revealed new Elise which should go on sale in 2015.

The Elise comes in both coupe and roadster form like its predecessor. The car has a much sharper and aggressive look thanks to its new headlights, floating taillights and shark inspired grill. The car should also be more improved than the previous model thanks to the longer extruded aluminum chassis.

Power for the Elise comes from a supercharged 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that is hooked up to a robotized manual engine and makes 320 hp and 330 Nm of torque. That should allow the 1095 kg Elise to hit a top speed of 167 mph and do 0-100 km/h in under 4.4 seconds.

Lotus is going berserk at the Paris Auto Show and have revealed five new models.

The Esprit show here is probable the most breathtaking of them all with a legendary history and striking appearance. The features a new sharp design with centre mounted dual exhaust and day time LED lights.

On the interior, the car gets a digital instrumental cluster, carbon fibre fitting and a sports steering wheel.

Power comes from a 5.0 litre V8 hooked up to a seven speed paddleshift transmission that churns out 620bhp and 750 Nm of torque. That allows the 1450 kg car to do 0-100 km/h in less that 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 205 mph. Excpect an Esprit R version that should get 612 hp.

Jaguar Unveils The 2010 C-X75 Concept

Jaguar has taken the sheets off the C-X75 concept which they will officially debut at the Paris Auto Show.

The car celebrates Jaguar`s 75 years of history. The C-X75 RE-EV (range-extended electric vehicle) takes inspiration from the XJ220 and has a beautiful exterior with a sharp rear. the car a simple central fuselage which is surrounded by wheel-arches that give the car a supercar stance and presence. The C-X75 also gets sharp chrome alloy rims, forward hinged doors and sill- mounted aluminium intakes.

The interior has all the luxury you need in a super car with every thing from leather , soft-touch materials, neoprene and polished and vapor-blasted aluminum. the diver and passenger get a seat right in front of a sealed airbox that contains the micro gas-turbines. The seats are mounted directly to the bulkhead as ``in a single-seater racing car``.

Lets get down to the main thing that makes a super car a super car, power. The C-X75 gets four electric motors, each assigned to a different wheel. These four motor come together to make a blistering 778 bhp and 1180lb ft of torque. That should allow the Jaguar C-X75 to hit 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph.

According Ralph Speth , Jaguar Land Rover CEO "Performance through innovation has always been a Jaguar hallmark. From the beginning, cars such as the C-Type and D-Type pioneered aluminum construction, aerodynamic design, racing monocoques and disc brakes. The C-X75 demonstrates that the company is still leading the field in automotive design and technology."

Lamborghini Finally Unveils The Sesto Elemento

Lamborghini have finally released new photos and some information on the the new concept model which will be officially unveiled tomorrow under the name of Sesto Elemento.

As expected ,the Sesto Elemento is super light at 999 kilograms (not sure if thats dry or wet) thanks to all the carbon-fiber used in the car. Although design looks like a more futuristic mix between a LP560-4 and a Reventon, its not just any other ordinary Lamborghini.

Power for the Sesto Elemento comes from the same 570 horsepower 5.2 liter V10 found in the LP570-4 Superleggera but it doesn't stop there. The Sesto Elemento has a power to weight ratio of 1.75 kg per hp which allows it to complete a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.5 seconds which is a mind blasting 0.2 seconds faster than the Pagani Zonda R and almost a second faster than the Superleggera. Top speed come at 186 mph.

Nissan’s 2012 GTR has been finally spotted in its true colors on video.

The cars were caught in three colors, black white and in the new Aurora Flare Blue Pearl. The new 2012 GTR’ s get power from a twin turbo V6 that churns out more tan 500hp and 448 lb-ft of torque.

One of Pagani’s beautiful Zonda R’s is up for auction in London.

The beasty track car is packed with a V12 engine which churns out 750 hp (100 hp more than the Zonda F) and 524 lb. ft. of torque. The car can do a 0-60 mph sprint in 2.7 seconds and can hit a top speed of 233 mph. It no ordinary Zonda as it only shares about ten percent of the Zonda F’s parts

The car also has a new suspension forged in Avional, a new Pagani six-speed transversal sequential gearbox, and a carbon fiber monocoque chassis.

Lamborghini Indomable Mixes A Gallardo And A Fighter Plane

Two design students Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez Albilares at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan where given the task of creating a design study based on the Lamborghini Gallardo’s wheel base. Supervised by Filipo Perini (head of Lamborghini Centro Stile) and designer Alessandro Salvagnin, they have cooked up this masterpiece Lamborghini design study named the Indomable.

The car was apparently inspired by jet fighter planes like the F-22 Raptor. On the exterior the car gets a taillight assembly that also proves to a rear spoiler and a Y-shaped glass engine bay cover.

Keep your arms crossed that Lamborghini takes this design into consideration for a future production car.

The configurator is present and you can alter changes to the car and personalize it. Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain

Lamborghini have unleashed another mad version of the Gallardo super-car called the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain.This special edition car pays tribute to the "huge success" of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo racing series.

The street legal LP 570-4 gets the same 5.2 liter 570 horsepower V10 engine found in the current Gallardo Superleggera and the Super Trofeo race car with power going to all wheels.

On the exterior, the car gets black paint, a new engine cover which actually improves air ventilation, a massive rear spoiler, tons of carbon fiber thrown around including carbon fiber finished mirror casings and diffuser and Skorpius alloy wheels which house yellow painted brake calipers and discs made of carbon-ceramic composites.

In terms of super lightness ,the LP 570-4 Blancpain is the "the lightest road-going model in Lamborghini's range"( it has the exact same weight as the Gallardo Superleggera) and has a dry weight of 1340kg or 2954 lb. Power-to-weight ratio is 2.35 kg per horsepower.

The car completes a 0-100 km/h run in just 3.8 seconds and can go to 200 km\h in just 10.2 seconds. Top speed for the car is more than 320 km/h or 199mph.

According to Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkom, Porsche is currently working on a sibling to the Cayenne SUV which will be smalled than the Cayenne. The car which was previously speculated to be called the Roxter will now be called "The Cajun" according to him.

He say that “Volkswagen wants to bring more to radiate the Porsche brand, there will be an additional model…a new SUV…a little brother for the Cayenne, the Cajun.”

Lamborghini have unveiled another teaser photo of their upcoming model that is supposed to be launched at the Paris Auto Show.

This is the fourth photo in the series of six teaser photos Lamborghini plan to unleash before the Paris Auto Show. What the photo’s showing is unclear but it looks like a centre locking rim wheels.

Ferrari unleashed SA Aperta 599 Roadster

Ferrari has unveiled new photos and information in the new 599 roadster officially known as the SA APERTA.

Ferrari made the SA Aperta to celebrate the 80th anniversary of their partner, designing firm, Pininfarina and as a tribute to Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina.

The SA Aperta comes with a removable soft top, new lower-angled windscreen, integrated roll-bars flanked by aerodynamic fins and a lowered suspension. Ferrari say that the soft top should "be resorted to only if the weather gets particularly bad." The car also benefits form a stiffened chassis however Ferrari says that any extra weight added by the more rigid chassis is unimportant.

Power for the SA Aperta comes from the 6.0-liter V12 producing 661bhp engine used in the 599 GTO.

Production will be limited to 80 units all of which have been sold and expect a official debut at the Paris Auto show.

Cayenne Coupe To be Shown at London's MPH Show

Its enough to make a 750 hp SUV but to turning it into a coupe is beyond insane.

Well insane should describe the folks at the UK-based tuning house Merad who have taken upon the task of turning a Porsche Cayenne SUV into a 750 hp Monster called the Cayenne 902 and a three door coupe called the Cayenne 902 Coupe.

The cars should come with a range of different styling upgrades and a power updates that range form a 550hp to a 750hp engine. That 750hp should allow this monster to go from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds.

According to the founder of the tuning company, Merad "We are very proud that this creation has brought together many British engineers and designers who have contributed to bringing this fantastic beast to the table. Rolls Royce will unveil five new exclusive Bespoke personalized car at the the Paris Auto Show.

This should include a new Extended Wheelbase Phantom painted in Gunmetal metallic with Sunrise leather in the inside, a Carrara White metallic Phantom Drophead Coupé with Hotspur Red leather on the inside, a Phantom Coupé and two Ghosts .

The cars will also get things like mother of pearl centers to white instrument dials, seat piping and Rolls-Royce monogram embroidery in all head restraints. The cars also get personalized tread plates inscribed with Mondial de l’Automobile Paris 2010.

First 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible To Be Auctioned on Friday

Well the long awaited 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible hasn't even been officially shown yet but we've got news that the second production car will be auctioned this Friday (the first one will be kept by GM).

Gm has hooked up with the owner of Fairway Chevrolet in Las Vegas to auction the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible at the Barret Jackson Auction taking place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on the 24 of September. All proceeds will go to the YMCA of Southern Nevada.

Don't expect to see the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible in production form as it wil be shown as the Concept controvertible. Except the official release of the Camaro at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November with both the V6 and V8 engine options.

Aston Martin have released an new video about their new One-77 with some official specs with it.

Throughout the video ,you see the 1.25 million euro Aston Martin One-77 working out at the track. The video also shows many design achievements on the car like tail lights and the thin door mirrors.

Power for this Aston Martin hyper-car will come a 7.3 liter V12 hooked up to a six-speed robotized manual gearbox making 750 hp and 750 nm of torque. That allowed the prototype One-77 to hit a top speed of 355 km/h ,let hope its stays the same on thee production version too.

The One-77 comes with carbon ceramic brakes and custom Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. It also features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and an inboard double wishbone suspension with Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve damping.

There will only be 77 One-77's made of which half have been sold. Expect first deliveries on early 2011.

Lamborghini has been in the news for the last coupe of weeks with teasers and spy photos of two new cars headed for the Paris Auto Show and this camouflaged car here is one of them.

The pictures show the replacement to the beastly Murcielago which has left a big legacy behind it. The camouflaged car is bench mark testing with the current Gallardo Superleggera at the Nurburgring track.

The car will be four wheel drive with styling inspired by the Reventon limited edition supercar with power coming from a new 700 bhp V12 engine. The car will be super-light like all Lamborghini's so expect a lot of carbon fiber and maybe even some aluminium bits with help from Audi.

The car is due to debut next year.

Porsche's New 911 Speedster

Porsche is out with another hardcore 911 model called the 911 speedster.

This new speedster was made in celebration of Porsche Exclusive's 25th anniversary. The car is manual soft top convertible with a "double-bubble" hardcover behind the driver with a 60mm lowered windscreen which is a small homage to its predecessor who's name is older than the 911 name itself .

The car also comes with a new body kit, tinted headlights, retroastic Fuchs-style rims, black accents and black stone guards in front of the rear wheels juts like the old cars. The car ill be painted in "Pure Blue" but Porsche will make it Carrera white at no extra charge.

The speedster is powered by a 3.8 liter flat six engine which makes 402hp hooked to a seven-speed PDK transmission which powers to the rear axle which has a standard differential lock. The Porsche also comes with Porsche active suspension management system and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake. Porsche says that the speedster returns an average fuel consumption rate of 22.8 mpg US.

Production will be limited to just 356 examples with a price tag of US$263,700 in Germany and USD$224,700 in the UK.

Lotus Unveils The Stunning New Elite

Lotus is out with a new supercar called the Elite which is the first car of other new models to debut at the Paris Auto show.

The car will be a RWD hard-top, front engined , four seater convertible which will take on the likes of the Ferrari California and the SL63 AMG.

This stunning new Elite should be successful in giving Lotus a new brand image. Lets start off with what we see in these pictures, sharp and aggressive body lines give the car a sinister look with a futuristic touch thanks to the LED headlights, taillights and exhaust tips. According to chief designer Donato Coco, "The existing two-dimensional grille not expressive enough. We need more sculpture and dignity, so we looked at the Seven – the way the grille worked with the headlights on the wings".

If looks don't stunt you ,the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) will. Just like in F1 cars, the front-mounted KERS puts out an extra 50bhp when the driver a ‘boost’ button, just like NOS systems in drag car and like the ones in Need For Speed. Without the KERS, the Elite will make 542bhp thanks to a 5.0-litre V8 turbocharged or supercharged Toyota engine. This should allow the 1,650 kg Elite to do a 0-60mph run in around 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 195mph. Expect an even more powerful "R" version with 612bhp

Inside you get a huge central ‘human machine interface’ screen which should control all the cars functions.

According to Dany Bahar, “There will always be those who say that Lotus should stick to small sports cars, but we didn’t take the decision to design the Elite lightly. In the past, the 2+2 market has been very successful for us, and now the Elite raises the benchmark higher still.”

Expect it to go on sale in 2014 with a price tag of £115,000.

BMW 6 Series Concept Unveiled

BMW has released photos and details about the new BMW Concept 6 Series Coupe which is basically the new 6 series in a nice jacket.

Styling for the 6 series has taken a more elegant and luxurious approach thanks to BMW's new design chief, Adrian van Hooydonk.

The 6 series will share basic architecture with the 5 series, so expect a RWD platform. Power will come from gasoline/diesel straight-six engine, a twin-turbo V8 petrol hooked up to a 8 speed manual or automatic transmission and BMW's new twin-turbocharged v8 which will show up later on in 2012 on the M6.

Expect the Concept 6 series to be officially unveiled at the Paris auto show with production versions to be released next year.

Shelby American and Ford Racing came hand in hand and have given the already mad Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake a 75hp bump to a massive Zonda competing power of 800 hp. For those of us who care about our future, the Super Snake is also available with 660 hp or 750 hp.

On the exterior , the 2011 Super Snake gets new white stripes, anthracite wheels, and new side scoops were added.

Pricing for the 800hp version hasn’t been announced yet but with a $30,000 price tag (without the car) for the 750hp upgrade, the car is not exactly cheap. Production is set to begin this month with only 1000 2011 Super Snakes being produced.

This new RWD model gets 408 hp and and 310 lb-ft , that's 23-horsepower more than the S but fuel efficiency stays the same. According to Porsche , the power comes f"a special resonance intake manifold [in which] six vacuum-controlled tuning flaps switch between power- and torque-optimized geometry, whereas in a Carrera S power unit there is only one tuning flap."

Chrysler has began teasing their newSebring replaing model called the 2011 Chrysler 200

This new Chrysler gets a new name which makes it look like a perfect youger sibling to the

This Mystery R8 was spied at a gas at a gas station just outside the Nürburgring.

Some details of the car point to a fact that it might actually be the top of the range R8 which will be called the RS.

The exterior of the prototype get some new orange style stripes, side air intakes found in the R8 LMS racing car ,plastic engine cover , exhausts that exit out the center of the rear bumper and a new body kit.

Inside you get a stripped-out cabin to shed weight. You also get a new pair of Recaro racing seats for high speed driving. Things to expect that are not in the prototype are a roll cage and a large spoiler.

Expect power to be even above 600hp for this hardcore R8 and to maybe even be rear-wheel drive only.

Porsche have sold 2,530 Panamera's in Germany, North American sales include 890 Panamera saloons in Los Angeles and 760 in New York. 300 other Pamamera's were delivered to Hong Kong this past year, 223 in Tokyo, 285 in Dubai, 188 in Shanghai, 203 in Moscow, 206 in Munich, 117 in Hamburg and 108 in Berlin.

Tougher Euro 5 emission rules means that super-cars like the R8 have to go cleaner.So Audi have made changes to 2011MY R8 Coupe and Spyder 's 4.2-liter V8 FSI.

The new engine now complies with the EU5 emission laws. This is done by Audi's new recuperation system that losses less energy during braking and coasting.

But cleaner engines don't always mean less power as the new V8 adds 10 more hp and 317.2 lb-ft of torque 4,500 rpm through 6,000 rpm. You have a choice of either a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed S tronic automated manual.0- 62mph comes in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 299 km/h.

What looks like two Z28 Camaro's were spotted camouflaged , doing tests in the streets of Coronado in California.

Most of the camo on the car was placed on the hood and as the picture shows, the car has a large hood scoop. Expect power to come from the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 making 556HP used in the Cadillac CTS-V.

Expect the Camaro Z28 to be officially unveiled sometime in 2011.

Both BMW's supercar, the M6 will end production at the end of this week.

The end of this car also signals the death of BMW's V10 engines which is used in the M6 and M5. The V10 will be replaced by BMW's new turbocharged V8 engine which makes a lot more horsepower than the V10.

2011 Bentley Continental GT Unleashed

For 2011 , the Bentley Continental GT comes with all its body panels replaced and adds more of a Mulsanne touch for the car. On the exterior you get new tail lamps , headlights, a higher belt-line and side windows which are a bit longer than the out-going car.

The Interior gets a new infotainment system, and higher quality materials ,a floating center stack and 2 inches more of legroom for the rear passengers thanks to slimmer front seats.

Power comes from the old 6.0-liter W12 engine which has been tweaked to produce 567 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, a 15hp and 37 lb-ft increase from the old car. 0-60 mph comes in 4.4 seconds which is also an improvement from the outgoing Bentley Continental GT (it did 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds). Top speed for the GT is 319 km/h and the car does this while return 12/19 mpg which is up from 10/17 mpg.

You also get new aluminum suspension components, 40:60 spilt all-wheel drive system and a new steering system.Expect a new 4.0 liter V8 to be unveiled later next year Being more fuel efficient than the W12.

Ferrari 599 Roadster Confimed And Secretly Revealed

Ferrari's new 599 Roadster was shown to a select group of potential customers at a private event open at the same time as the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. These Potential buyers were personally invited by Ferrari North America boss Marco Mattiachi. These customers were also asked to sign non-disclosure agreements and forced to leave phones and cameras at the door.

People who saw the 599 roadster at the show say it was painted a new multi-layer red colour with contrasting silver buttresses called Rosso Fuoco . Ferrari has also confirmed that the roof to be a temporary cover, like the ones on the Bugatti Veyron grand sport or Porsche Boxster Spyder. Expect the car to be limited to under 100 examples.

All Ferrari 458's Recalled

Ferrari has voulentarly decided to recall all its new 458's that were made till now.

This comes as many Ferrari 458's randomly burst to flames and were destroyed. The recall issued applies to all 458's manufactured till the end of July as the factory itself was shutdown in August, this affects 1,248 458's.

The cause of the flames was the adhesive used in the wheelarch assembly process. The adhesive was found to melt at high temperatures causing the wheelarches to deform and land on the exhaust. The flames occur when the car is being driven hard in a place with high ambient temperature.

The recalled cars will be fit with mechanical fasteners and the owners of the burn-down Ferrari 458'8 will be given a free 458 as a replacement.

The new 2011 Suzuki Swift is now available of order in the UK with a starting price tag of £9,995 for the base three door model and £12,245 for the manual high end five door model .
Power for the Suzuki Swift comes form a new 94HP 1.2-liter petrol engine combined fuel economy of 56.5 mpg UK and a 75HP 1.3-liter diesel engine with a combined fuel consumption of 67.3mpg UK will be available for the Swift next spring.

The 2011 Swift comes in three models: the SZ2, SZ3 and SZ4. The SZ2 comes equipped with electrically adjustable heated door mirrors, remote central door locking with deadlocks, electric front windows, MP3 / WMA compatible CD tuner with USB port and steering wheel mounted audio controls and the SZ3 adds 16 inch alloy rims and manual air conditioning.
